Welcome to Dériver Designs, your go-to online store for furniture renovation and refinishing, bespoke artwork, and hand-crafted home decor items. My goal is to provide you with high-quality and unique products that will help you create a one-of-a-kind space that reflects your personality and style, and on commission pieces can work with you closely to ensure this comes true!

Privacy & Safety

PAYMENTS AND PRIVACY 

At Dériver Designs, we take your privacy and safety very seriously. We use secure third-party banking to verify payment and protect your personal information via the website and send invoices with payment links via Zettle by Paypal.

 

 We collect data only to improve your shopping experience and provide you with better service. We will contact you about your purchase and  if necessary after your purchase, only in relation to this. Your trust is important to us, and we promise to always treat your personal information with respect and care, records will be kept securely and not kept for longer than is necessary or legally obliged. 

DELIVERY

The cost of standard delivery is built into the price of your item, so *usually there is no additional fee to pay (*however if you live in Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland, Cornwall, Wales or the Channel Islands there may be additional delivery charges to pay which will be invoiced separately).

Delivery will be arranged shortly after receiving the order, and I aim to have it delivered to you within 10 working days. I will contact you to determine a convenient delivery date where you can be in to receive the piece, and please advise if you wish to pay a little extra for a speedier delivery and I will be able to provide a quote for this service.   

 

Your items will be packaged to protect them during transit and trusted couriers are used, or myself if local to Surrey! Generally I will use two man courier services, and your item can be delivered to the ground floor, or up/down one flight of stairs. Please check your item on receiving it and notify me of any concerns immediately; we will endeavour to rectify any issues for you to ensure you enjoy your item. Please note we currently only deliver within the UK. 

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

At Dériver Designs, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase; all pieces are fully functional and refurbished but may show minor signs of their previous life in keeping with their vintage and for artistic effect. If for any reason you are not satisfied once you see the item within your space, you may return any item within 28 days of purchase. It is important that you make sure the item is well packaged to ensure its safe transit and in its original condition, as any damage incurred may affect the amount that you will be refunded. Please note that certain items, such as custom-made to your specifications or personalised items, are not automatically eligible for return, but please do get in touch to discuss.

If you wish to cancel an order of a pre-made item before it has been dispatched then a full refund will be given. If you want to cancel a commission order then part or all of the 50% deposit may be kept depending on costs already incurred for the piece and time spent working on it prior to the cancellation.

To return an item, we ask that you simply contact us and arrange for the return of the item within 28 days of purchase. Please be aware that you will be responsible for the return delivery fees, but we can help organise this if needed. Once we have received the item and verified it to be in the same condition as it was sold to you in, then we will process your refund, minus the original delivery cost that was included within the sale price
